Job Description
Exploring the effects of early-life brain irradiation on long-term health outcomes is crucial to understanding the development of neurological and neuropsychological disorders. As a Research Assistant / Associate, you will investigate the mechanistic pathways underlying disease genesis, develop innovative radiation detection methods, and pioneer novel therapeutic strategies to prevent these disorders.
Responsibilities Include:
- Routine lab work and maintenance
- Small animal handling
- Molecular biology techniques
- Bioinformatical analysis
- Cell culture methodologies
- Histochemical and immunohistochemical staining
Qualifications
- B.Sc. and/or Master degree in biology or biomedical science
- Experience in small animal research preferred
- 2-3 years of biomedical research laboratory experience
- Background in neuroscience, radiation research, biomarker development, and bioinformatical analysis preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
