R&D Molecular Associate at Tempus

Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the development of advanced molecular assays for our clinical lab
- Assist in troubleshooting and quality control initiatives
- Help automate manual protocols for increased efficiency
- Execute molecular protocols with precision and attention to detail
- Generate detailed experimental documentation and process clinical samples
- Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring new methods and processes
- Design experiments, analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations
- Occasional travel within the US may be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree with 3+ years of experience in a molecular lab in the Biotech industry
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- Hands-on experience with various molecular methods
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with Next Generation Sequencing
- Familiarity with robotics and automated liquid handling systems
- Knowledge of LIMS platforms and computer systems
