Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a strong knowledge of seed physiology and seed business
  • Leading projects independently with varieties of stakeholders
  • Designing and executing experiments
  • Making data-based decisions timely and according to project timelines
  • Actively taking part in the technology transfer and implementation process in the processing plants

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree preferably in plant science, or equivalent qualification/relevant experience
  • Passion for working on the boundaries of plant biology/seed technology and operations
  • Strong drive to deliver results and implement innovative technologies in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated interest in finding technical solutions for biological problems
  • Good English language skills
  • Willingness to continuously learn
  • Strong team working and communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Basic command of the Dutch language or the drive to learn it in the short term
  • Relevant work experience in a commercial environment
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in an international environment
