About the Job
We seek a Manager Associate Scientist – Vaccine to join our team in the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) division. In this role, you will be responsible for downstream purification processes, supporting manufacturing, process validation, and tech transfer activities. Be part of a dynamic team that enhances drug and vaccine quality and innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Execute small-scale recombinant protein purification experiments
- Provide manufacturing support and commercial manufacturing shop-floor assistance
- Prepare technical reports, protocols, and analyses
- Participate in general lab maintenance
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar discipline with 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Master’s degree in Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a similar discipline with no prior experience needed in the pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with chromatography workstations and process skids
- Proficiency in SDS PAGE, Western Blot, BCA, Purity, etc.
- Knowledge of high-throughput process development equipment
