As a Biologist or Microbiologist in QC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products through accurate and reliable microbiological testing.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Accurately and safely perform microbiological testing of water and product samples, clean steam, environmental monitoring, and compressed gases per established testing procedures and protocols.
- Accurately record data in reports or LIMS in accordance with laboratory procedures, standards, and GMP requirements.
- Recognize deviations from procedures, methods, etc. and initiate an investigation as required.
- Verify (SPV) analytical data of other analysts within the lab as requested.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Training):
- Bachelor’s (4-year college) degree in Biology or Microbiology and Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical Microbiology lab.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
Additional Preferences:
- Knowledge and experience with laboratory testing techniques practices in support of testing for Endotoxin, Bioburden, Sterility, Identification techniques, TOC, Conductivity, Nitrates, Growth Promotion and Biological Indicator testing.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- 8 hour days โ Monday through Friday
- Minimal travel required.
- Flexible schedule and available to work weekends and overtime.
- Actual compensation: $63,000 – $162,800
