Looking to grow your career in pharmaceutical manufacturing? Lilly is hiring a QC Lab Technician at its brand-new API production facility in Lebanon, Indiana. This full-time role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic startup team, supporting environmental and utility monitoring operations in a GMP-regulated lab environment.
Organization Overview:
Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API molecules located in Lebanon, IN (Lilly Lebanon API). This facility is Lillyโs largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products, including new modalities. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the startup team for the manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the processes and facility to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations.
Position Description:
Key Objectives/Deliverables for QC:
- Perform environmental monitoring sampling, including non-viable, viable, surface sampling, and personnel monitoring.
- Perform utility sampling on compressed gas systems and water systems.
- Participate in performance qualification of environmental, utility, and water systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with GMP requirements as QC.
- Train others within the lab and troubleshoot equipment and methods as needed.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in daily work activities.
- Follow Lilly standards for CCI/Lean and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree in a science field or High School Diploma with GMP experience as QC.
Additional Preferences:
- Ability to work in a highly regulated lab environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency with computer systems.
Other Information:
- Role may require 24-hour operation support, shifts covering days, nights, and weekends.
- Overtime may be needed, and availability for off-shift operational issues.
- Tasks may involve repetitive motion, standing for long periods, and lifting at least 30 pounds.
