The role of Regulatory Affairs Scientist is responsible for ensuring faultless compliance of ingredients, formulas, and labeling for several brands within PepsiCo Canada. Responsibilities
Reporting to the PepsiCo Foods Canada Regulatory Manager, this position focuses on providing regulatory expertise for brands under the FritoLay portfolio. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving ingredient specifications, creating nutrition facts tables, substantiating claims, and collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of foods regulatory affairs experience with knowledge of Canadian Food and Drug regulations
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage workload, conduct risk assessments, and work independently
- Previous experience with product specification and regulatory software
