Position Overview:
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Microbiology, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex microbiological testing, troubleshooting lab instrumentation, and ensuring accurate test reporting to support quality patient care. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with a dedicated team of lab professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate specimen acceptability based on criteria

Conduct microbiology testing per SOPs
-
Troubleshoot and monitor lab instrumentation

Perform and record preventive maintenance and QC procedures
-
Report accurate and timely test results
-
Support specimen processing and supply management
-
Maintain lab safety standards and PPE compliance
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Clinical Lab Science, or Medical Technology, or meet CLIA & state regulations

Minimum 1 year of clinical lab experience or an MLS degree

ASCP or AMT certification preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Computer literacy and lab system familiarity

Must pass a standardized color vision screening

Flexibility to work other shifts or overtime as needed
