Personalized Medicine Scientist Opportunity – Job Description

The Personalized Medicine Scientist will be crucial in SCRI’s Personalized Medicine program, supporting operational and population sciences strategies and providing scientific consultation to enhance cancer care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and facilitate Molecular Tumor Boards and education seminars
  • Analyze patient molecular profiles and recommend targeted therapies
  • Interact with medical oncologists to interpret molecular profiling results
  • Identify patients for clinical trials and assist in screening
  • Develop relationships with physicians and research staff
  • Track and report metrics for program evaluation

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree required, PhD preferred
  • 1+ year work experience in cell biology and oncology therapeutics
  • Knowledge of cancer genomics and clinical research processes
