Responsibilities
- Support product development initiatives by preparing beverage samples for various product development activities.
- Coordinate the production and storage of samples, as well as support the stability study.
- Submit samples for analytical or sensory testing.
- Thoroughly document experimental details in the laboratory notebook.
- Maintain and document laboratory inventory.
- Maintain lab equipment through regular equipment calibration.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment.
- Effectively collaborate with members of other groups to maintain the lab or conduct lab work.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is between $59,000 – $88,500. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility.
Qualifications
- B.S. in the Science field, preferably Food Science.
- 0 – 3 years prior experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must demonstrate a relentless commitment to working safely and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Committed to lab work and able to execute benchtop experiments.
- Must be proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to proactively and positively interface with various functions.
- Must be well-organized, capture work details, and highlight any unexpected challenges.
- Must possess the ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams.
- Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook (email/calendar).
