Microbiology Associate Job Opportunity – Position Summary:
The Microbiology Associate I supports quality control and manufacturing by performing microbiology assays and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with cGMP regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position with 1st and 2nd shift schedules available.
Microbiology Associate Job Opportunity – Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiology testing, including TOC, conductivity, endotoxin, bioburden, and growth promotion.
- Perform raw material release testing and document procedures accurately.
- Review and approve water data and initiate investigations for OOS or deviations.
- Train junior staff on SOPs and lab protocols.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and comply with PCI’s 6S principles.
- Prepare and revise SOPs to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Microbiology Associate Job Opportunity – Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated lab or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Strong aseptic technique and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and the ability to follow precise protocols.
