Job Description:
QC Microbiologist I:
- Analyze raw materials, in-process, stability and final container products following established procedures
- Record and review data in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Perform basic microbiology skills
- Assist in troubleshooting/investigations
- Participate in validation of new products and processes
QC Microbiologist II (in addition to QC Microbiologist I):
- Demonstrate proficiency in core microbiology assays
- Assist in training exercises and client interactions
- Participate in validation of new products and processes
Qualifications:
QC Microbiologist I:
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or related hard science with microbiology emphasis
- No experience required, lab experience desired
QC Microbiologist II:
- Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or related hard science with microbiology emphasis
- 1 year lab experience required, pharmaceutical experience desired
- Ability to utilize scientific literature and make effective reports
Both QC Microbiologist I & II:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate initiative
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.
Hiring Wage:
- QC Microbiologist I: $27.01 to $36.53 per hour
- QC Microbiologist II: $30.01 to $40.59 per hour
