Role & Responsibilities:

Lead R&D projects, manufacturing facilities, and internal/external labs with expertise in container/closure integrity testing.

Support bioburden/sterility validations, BET, biological indicators, and medical device reprocessing validation.

Understand technical theories and practices within microbiology and related disciplines.

Design experiments and draw conclusions from lab data for medical device and pharmaceutical projects.

Support fellow team members and maintain high-level teamwork.

Innovate and incorporate new technologies and methodologies.

Write, execute, and review microbiological protocols/reports and interpret regulatory guidelines for Microbiology.

Maintain current knowledge of Quality System Regulations relevant to R&D.

Write and implement SOPs, apply state-of-the-art techniques, and develop new or improved products.

Develop expertise in GxP and related global standards.
Skills & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related discipline with 5+ years experience, OR

MS with 3+ years experience, OR PhD with 0-3 years experience.

Direct microbiology laboratory experience required.

Knowledge in container/closure integrity (physical and microbiological methods), BET, biological indicators, sterility validations, disinfection, or Global Pathogen Safety desired.

Proficient knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, ASTM, ISO, PDA, USP for Microbiology.

Estimated Base Salary: $96,000 โ $132,000 annually.
