Summary:
The Stuarts Draft plant is a Non-Union plant producing products such as Reese’s (peanut butter cups, FastBreak, Sticks, Thins, Pieces, filled shapes and NutRageous), Baking Chips, Take5, and Whatchamacallit in a high-speed complex environment.
Under moderate guidance, the Quality Assurance Specialist’s primary job responsibilities are to serve as a liaison between Quality Assurance (QA) and Manufacturing. QA responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory policies/procedures pertaining to product safety/quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance through training, auditing, and incident management

Conduct PEP/HACCP/Environmental audits

Lead sampling, data logging, and non-conformance analysis

Support new products, process improvement, and complaint reduction

Serve as QA representative for multi-functional teams
Job Requirements:

Strong GMP, HACCP, and regulatory knowledge

Ability to climb, lift, and perform hands-on testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

Experience in food safety auditing and documentation

Communication and leadership skills to influence across teams
Education & Experience:
-
B.S./A.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.

1–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or related QA role
-
HACCP and/or Six Sigma certification preferred
Other Requirements:

Must be available for on-call rotational weekend coverage
