- Compensation Range: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
- Hours: Typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility required to meet department needs and other projects.
Position Summary:
The Molecular Biologist is responsible for developing innovative therapies for neuro-degenerative diseases using molecular, protein, and cell-based biochemical assays.
Duties and Responsibilities for Molecular Biologist I Job:
- Perform various laboratory assays such as PCR, ELISAs, and Western blotting
- Cultivate and maintain cell cultures for imaging and biochemical assays
- Analyze and organize data for presentation
- Conduct in-vivo work including handling of rodents and sample collection
- Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment as Molecular Biologist
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Demonstrated proficiency in molecular biology techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines as Molecular Biologist
- Team player with a positive attitude
Education and Experience:
- Degree requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience in molecular biology techniques
