Role Overview
We are seeking a curious and motivated scientist to join our innovative purification team. In this position, you will support the development and optimization of purification processes for biotherapeutics, collaborating closely with experts in downstream processing and biomanufacturing. You’ll contribute to a growing platform of cost-effective, scalable, and continuous biologics processes designed for future-ready healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of purification strategies for novel biotherapeutics
- Support tech transfer to clinical and commercial-scale manufacturing sites
- Drive innovations in downstream purification to improve yield, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Contribute to technology development initiatives within the purification platform
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Biochemistry, or related discipline
- 0–3 years of industry-relevant experience in purification or bioprocessing
- Solid knowledge of chromatography, filtration, buffer prep, and scale-up principles
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong experimental design and data analysis skills
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with AKTA chromatography systems
- Familiarity with UF/DF, dead-end filtration, viral filtration, and depth filtration
- Knowledge of DOE tools like JMP, MATLAB, or other statistical analysis platforms
- Experience with automation systems and high-throughput screening
- Exposure to multi-column chromatography and continuous purification
- Experience with process and mechanistic modeling in purification
