Job Description:

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Development Scientist I to join our team in Chaska, Minnesota. This role involves working in the Development Pilot Lab to support the production of Development and Pilot lots for verification/validation studies and their transfer to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and commercialization of immunoassays
- Execute experiments, analyze data, and present conclusions to cross-functional teams
- Communicate project status and data with teams
- Maintain timelines for multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Facilitate product transfer into manufacturing from development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related field) with 0+ years of lab experience
- Training in Life Sciences, Laboratory Medicine, or related clinical chemistry
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a clinical, research, or diagnostic setting with immunoassay development knowledge
- Working knowledge of basic statistical methods
Compensation: Hourly range $32-34.25/hour
Benefits: Paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) offered
Other: Eligible for bonus/incentive pay
