Essential Responsibilities for Analyst:
- Compile/process data (make power export)
- Prepare summary tables
- Peer review raw data
- Order reagents
- Participate in assay development and validation
- Run assays independently (biomarker, cell-based, immunogenicity, immuno-, enzymatic, or LC/MS/MS)
- Adhere to provided method/directive
- Prepare reagents
- Use LIMS system
- Participate in sample analysis
- Pipetting
- Adhere to safety requirements as Analyst
- Keep accurate inventory of supplies for assays
- Responsible for accurate record keeping according to GxP guidelines
- Operate instrumentation and associated software
Additional Responsibilities:
- Other duties as needed
Minimum Preferred Qualifications: Education/Experience for Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biology, immunology, or related field with at least two (2) years’ experience in a scientific laboratory environment; or
- Master’s degree in related field with at least one (1) year experience in a scientific laboratory environment
Minimum Preferred Qualifications: Skills
- Ability to carry out tasks accurately following strict methodology
- Must work effectively within a team to meet objectives under time constraints as Analyst
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Experience working in a GxP environment preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word
Working Environment:
- Primarily laboratory environment as Analyst
- Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms
- Personal protective equipment required
- Routinely uses standard office equipment
