Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments in support of process development, including preparing solutions, running unit operations, and executing fundamental analysis of process samples.
- Make detailed observations about experimental deviations and carry out an analysis of the data.
- Maintain knowledge of instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
- Assure proper labeling, handling, and storage of chemicals.
- React to change productively and handle other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, biotechnology, or related field.
- Basic technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience in various laboratory methods.
- Ability to work off-hours when necessary.
Working Conditions
Rotating or shift work is expected to support active laboratory operations as needed.
Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000
