Job Description:
This position is responsible for the preparation, production, bottling, and packaging of stem cell and gene therapy (SCGT) media. The role includes QC testing of methylcellulose-containing media, performing cell culture, and manufacturing components for various kits. The position requires attention to detail, flexibility, and may include occasional weekend work.
Key Responsibilities for BS LifeScience Research Associate Job:
- Manufacture and bottle SCGT media, kit components, and Cultrex products
- Prepare chemicals and reagents required for manufacturing
- Perform QC testing, including Lowry, BCA, and Sircol assays
- Conduct occasional mouse embryo dissection
- Track and maintain inventory of components and chemicals
- Collaborate across departments for oral and written communication
- Assist in the packing and production of existing products
- Follow all company policies, safety manuals, and job-specific guidelines
- Cross-train and support other teams in the department
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications for BS LifeScience Research Associate Job:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or equivalent
- 0–2 years of laboratory experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
