Job Description
As a research assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting research projects at the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics and Immunology. The primary focus will be on developing and characterizing engineered anti-inflammatory therapeutics and assessing their efficacy in animal models of autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Responsibilities
- Design, express, and purify recombinant proteins
- Maintain and screen animal colonies
- Design and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments
- Analyze and manage experimental data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science
- Experience working with in vivo animal models
- Strong team player with excellent time management skills
- Educational background in immunology, molecular or cell biology preferred
