Position Description:
As a Research Scientist I at MCW, you will be responsible for conducting data curation, data analysis, and developing research resources. Collaborate with diverse research communities to provide valuable insights through your work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data acquisition and analysis from various sources
- Develop content for web-based research resources
- Assist in creating data standards and implementing vocabularies
- Work with programmers on data analysis tools and web interfaces
- Contribute to workshops, presentations, and educational materials
Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of biological sciences, strong communication skills, and be proficient in MS Office software. Additionally, familiarity with genomic databases and data manipulation is desirable.
Preferred Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00, some weekends
