About the Job
The Junior Toxicologist at LUSH plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of finished products in a completely animal-free manner. The Toxicology team focuses on consumer safety through scientifically relevant methods, utilizing human testing models.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting animal-free safety assessments of new finished products
- Tracking new products launching and maintaining relevant spreadsheets
- Preparing safety certificates and Safety Data Sheets
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinating communication across various teams
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Toxicology
- Deep understanding of Toxicology and assessment methods
- Good knowledge of in vitro testing of chemicals
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in cosmetics would be appreciated
