Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, etc.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control or a related field
- Strong understanding of analytical techniques and quality control principles
- Experience with aseptic techniques, flow cytometry, or cell-based assays
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data integrity
Salary Range: $65,000 – $95,000 per year.
Overview
The QC Scientist at Orca Bio conducts routine and non-routine analysis to ensure the quality of our investigational cell therapies. This role plays a critical part in advancing our clinical pipeline and maintaining a reliable supply of therapies for patients.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, intermediates, and final products
- Record and document testing activities in adherence to cGMP regulations
- Assist in the preparation and review of relevant documentation
- Participate in lab maintenance and equipment qualification
- Order and maintain lab supplies
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
