Job Description
The Lab Technician I – Chemist will provide support to the QC Analytical Laboratory for the testing of in-process and finished good products, raw materials, water, stability studies, and validation studies. This position is responsible for operating in compliance with all applicable procedures and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, FDA, and ISO regulations
- Perform instrumental and wet chemistry techniques/analyses
- Perform laboratory testing and maintenance
- Submit samples for third-party lab testing
- Maintain GMP/GLP laboratory notebooks
- Assist in test method validation and execution
- Handle biohazard material in compliance with regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or biological sciences preferred
- 0-3 years of relevant GMP/GLP laboratory experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
