Job Description

VHIR is seeking a Research Superior Technician for its Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology. The successful candidate will assist in laboratory procedures, sample processing, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will support experimental work, collaborate with senior researchers, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the lab while advancing projects related to biomarker research and personalized medicine in endometrial cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in translational research projects to improve endometrial cancer diagnosis through biomarker studies.
  • Work on personalized medicine projects using preclinical models.
  • Collaborate with other research projects within the group.
  • Support experimental work and foster productive team discussions.
  • Participate in the general operations and activities of the research group.
  • Assist the principal investigator with managerial tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Previous experience in a translational research group.
  • Skilled in data analysis.
  • Strong academic record and/or authorship in publications.
  • Proactive, passionate, and committed to learning.

Desired:

  • Animal handling certification.
  • Experience with preclinical model development (PDXs, PDOs) and in vivo studies.
  • Expertise in proteomics techniques (mass spectrometry, ELISA).
