Job Description:
The Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for the performance of laboratory activities for the Biospecimen Repository Core Facility (BRCF) for cancer research. This includes specimen processing, sample storage, sample distribution, quality assurance, and regulatory standards oversight.
Job Duties:
- Process specimens under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
- Perform specimen banking for long-term storage and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Distribute samples as assigned.
- Follow quality assurance plan and SOPs for accurate execution of laboratory processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree in biology, chemistry, or related field.
- 1 year of laboratory experience.
- Experience with HIPAA guidelines, medical terminology, and oncology preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, time management, attention to detail, and computer skills.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $21.97 – $30.76 per hour
