Overview
Indovinya, a division of Indorama Ventures, is seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Research Chemist I at our facility in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating existing and new chemistries, processes, or applications related to Indorama products. Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of industry developments
- Complete projects in the US project pipeline
- Execute lab work and analyze samples
- Maintain orderly laboratory space and records
- Follow safety protocols and training requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field required
- Surfactants knowledge strongly preferred
- Experience in R&D laboratory work
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in analytical techniques
- Formulation experience in relevant industries
- English proficiency, bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish a plus
