Job Description
As an Associate Quality Control professional in the Gels Laboratory, you will perform analytical testing, manage laboratory data, and ensure compliance with GMP standards. You will contribute to testing activities, support troubleshooting, track samples, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality excellence. This position supports non-standard shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing using SDS Page, IEF, Capillary Electrophoresis, and Elisa.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
- Evaluate test results and report out-of-specification outcomes.
- Document data using LIMS, Empower, and LMES in line with Good Documentation Practices.
- Perform troubleshooting and support root cause analysis.
- Manage sample collection, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure inventory readiness and compliance with laboratory safety and GMP standards.
- Complete assigned training and stay current with SOPs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree, OR
- Associateโs + 6 months QC/Laboratory experience, OR
- High school/GED + 2 years QC/Laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Biochemistry or Life Sciences
- Experience in GMP-regulated biotech/pharma labs
- Strong organizational, communication, and technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred
- Flexible to work non-standard/third shifts
