  • Salary: £31,236 – £34,610 per annum

Qualification

  • Master’s degree (MBiochem, MSc, MRes) in cell biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, virology, or a related area.
  • Hands-on experience with standard wet lab techniques, including DNA/RNA/protein extraction and analysis, cloning, western blotting, immunofluorescence, mammalian cell culture, and flow cytometry.
  • Strong organisational skills and a collaborative attitude toward scientific problem-solving.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Iqbal Dulloo in the School of Life Sciences. The successful candidate will assist in investigating the role of membrane proteases in cellular communication and transcriptional responses in health and disease.
