About the Job

The laboratory of Swetansu Hota at the Herman B. Wells Center for Pediatric Research is seeking a Research Technician to assist in the study of gene regulation during heart development. This role involves working with mouse models in vivo and stem cells in vitro.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing mouse and human pluripotent stem cell culture and in vitro heart cell differentiation
  • Learning cell biology, genomics, and bioinformatics
  • Assisting with basic molecular biology and biochemistry experiments
  • Managing mouse colonies and supporting students and postdocs in their research
  • Presenting research in lab meetings and participating in journal clubs
