Freshers Life Science Research Associate Job Summary
The Research Associate Co-op will play a key role in downstream purification development, optimization, scale-up, and tech transfer. This position involves collaborating with internal PD teams to support pilot production, GMP manufacturing, and related investigation studies.
Freshers Life Science Research Associate – Responsibilities
- Assist in purification process development and optimization
- Design and execute pilot-scale experiments
- Analyze data and develop optimization strategies
- Support tech transfer to GMP manufacturing and deviation investigations
- Author study protocols and reports
- Maintain lab equipment functionality and coordinate repairs
Freshers Life Science Research Associate – Qualifications
- Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Life Sciences or related field.
- Experience: 0โ2 years in a biopharmaceutical/biological contract testing or manufacturing organization, or research laboratory.
- Hands-on experience in chromatography, UFDF, viral inactivation, and filtration is a plus.
- Pilot-scale operation experience is desirable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively within a team.
- Physical ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
