Job Description:
Prof Chng Wee Joo’s laboratory at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support translational research in haematologic malignancies, including multiple myeloma (MM), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTL).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute molecular and cellular biology experiments
- Assist in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
- Validate genomic and proteomic findings
- Maintain a tissue bank and clinical database
- Conduct cell culture and functional assays
- Analyze gene expression and pathways
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology and genomics
- Experience with bioinformatics tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Prior research experience in haematological malignancies preferred
