Job Description:

Prof Chng Wee Joo’s laboratory at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support translational research in haematologic malignancies, including multiple myeloma (MM), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTL).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute molecular and cellular biology experiments
  • Assist in next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
  • Validate genomic and proteomic findings
  • Maintain a tissue bank and clinical database
  • Conduct cell culture and functional assays
  • Analyze gene expression and pathways

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • Hands-on experience in molecular biology and genomics
  • Experience with bioinformatics tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Prior research experience in haematological malignancies preferred
