Job Description:
As a QC Lab Analyst at Avantor, you will perform testing of raw materials and finished products, operate laboratory instruments such as pH meters, UV, KF, FTIR, and titration equipment, and ensure compliance with Quality Control methods and compendia standards. Responsibilities include generating data, conducting technical reviews, calibrating equipment, monitoring the environment, documenting findings, and conducting investigative analyses to support laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine chemical and microbiological analyses.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation according to SOPs.
- Prepare and review technical reports, protocols, and lab documentation.
- Perform Environmental Monitoring in cleanroom settings.
- Review discrepancies in data, COAs, and COCs; ensure data accuracy.
- Handle hazardous materials using appropriate safety equipment.
- Maintain compliance with QC procedures and EXCIPACT/USP/EP/BP standards.
- Enter final results into LIMS and support investigations when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience in QC, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- Knowledge of LIMS and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Experience with wet chemistry, acid/base titrations, and water content analysis is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
