Job Title: Lab Assistant
Location: Oxford, England, United Kingdom
Qualification: Minimum of A-Levels or equivalent, preferably a degree in Life Sciences
Job Description:
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team at TFP in Oxford. This role involves practical laboratory tasks, administrative duties, quality control, and patient communication within our state-of-the-art IVF laboratory setting. Full training will be provided.
Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, with weekend rotation
Pension: Dual contribution pension scheme
Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of culture dishes, data entry, semen analysis/preparation
- Communication with patients about appointments and treatment cycles
- Assisting with quality control and quality assurance
- Monitoring and maintaining consumables, equipment, and the laboratory environment
- Regulatory compliance and completion of relevant TFP Training Scheme modules
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a laboratory environment is preferable
- Good manual dexterity skills
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, excellent time management
- High attention to detail, resilient, and hardworking
- Excellent communication skills
