Job Description
As an R&D Intern at Elanco, you will gain hands-on laboratory experience in areas like chemistry, analytics, pharmaceutical science, molecular biology, protein sciences, cell culture, and immunology. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to Elanco’s Research & Development pipeline and build essential scientific skills for your future career.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory experiments and analyze results
- Perform independent research and report findings
- Present work to supervisors and provide recommendations
- Suggest improvements in experimental processes and instrumentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Internship at Elanco – Educational Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a STEM field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, etc.)
- Open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or Professional Degree students (DVM, PharmD, etc.)
Experience and Skills
- Hands-on lab experience through coursework or research
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong motivation, curiosity, and critical thinking
- At least one semester of lab-based research experience
- Experience with statistical software or data management tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and presentation skills
