About the Company
Position Summary
This position involves small-scale cell culture to produce GMP and non-GMP recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies for growth in various bioreactor systems. Responsibilities include optimizing growth conditions, media preparation, and additional assigned duties. Weekend work with a Sunday through Thursday shift is required.
Essential Functions
- Produce mammalian cell-derived recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies
- Perform DNA extractions, ELISAs, and Transient Transfections
- Optimize growth conditions based on previous batch records
- Prepare media and solutions for cell culture
Job Specifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a biological science with 0-2 years of lab experience. Prior cell culture experience preferred. Must work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal skills, problem-solving, aseptic practices, organizational skills, communication skills, and knowledge of safety and company policies.
