Internship Overview

As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will work alongside plant leadership and QA teams to support food safety and quality initiatives. This program allows interns to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while developing technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead small quality improvement projects across teams and plants.

  • Create and update documentation for food safety, quality, and laboratory processes.

  • Learn about Schreiber Foods products and apply knowledge to process improvements.

  • Input and analyze quality data.

  • Assist in projects related to HACCP, sanitation, SQF, suppliers, auditing, training, and testing.

  • Support compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans.

  • Interpret customer requirements and communicate them to production teams.

  • Audit and monitor CCPs, PCPs, and SOPs to ensure compliance.

Candidate Profile

Schreiber Foods is looking for students who are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s in Food Science, Microbiology, or related fields.

  • Able to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks in summer 2026.

  • Effective communicators with strong technical foundations.

  • Comfortable working independently or in teams within a plant environment.

  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to grow through new challenges.
