Overview:
We are looking for a Toxicology Intern to join our Product Safety and Compliance team at Lubrizol. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for students with a keen interest in toxicology or pharmaceutical sciences to gain hands-on experience in ensuring compliance with chemical control regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing toxicology data for health and environmental hazard assessments.
- Support chemistry evaluations of Lubrizol products and raw materials for compliance management.
- Work with specialists to record data accurately in the compliance management system.
- Maintain documents via the product safety & compliance SharePoint site.
- Collaborate with toxicologists and hazard classification specialists on testing protocols and global classifications.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Biology, or related science.
- Strong interest and knowledge of toxicology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
