Key Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing using approved methodologies

Apply aseptic techniques for sample handling and preparation

Prepare and analyze samples for pathogens, probiotics, and indicator organisms

Prepare and sterilize media and reagents for accurate microbial analysis

Document all sample preparation, quality control, and testing results

Accurately interpret and record microbial test outcomes

Complete required training to progress into more advanced laboratory tasks
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or Life Sciences (required)

Knowledge of aseptic technique

1+ years laboratory experience (food testing or analytical lab preferred, but not required)

Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards or GLPs (desirable)

General knowledge of food microbiology and testing methods (preferred)
