Starbucks is hiring an R&D Product Developer in Food Research to support innovative food projects across multiple platforms. This role involves translating culinary concepts into manufacturable food products that meet quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • R&D Product Developer supports projects to ensure that concepts align with project briefs.

  • Use data, trends, and insights to develop food recipes and products.

  • Manage low complexity manufacturing trials and document protocols, summaries, and product specifications.

  • Utilize information from multiple sources to inform decisions and assess risks.

  • Solve fundamental technical issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

  • Communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate and influence team members and peers effectively.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Food Science or related fields.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage technology, ingredient functionality, and food safety principles.

  • Analytical skills with a strong understanding of experimental design.

  • Experience in culinary arts, recipe development, and product development is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
