Job Description of the NUS Singapore Career

The department is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Professor Lin-Fa Wang to conduct research on translational bat biology. This exciting project explores metabolic adaptations in a nectarivorous bat species and aims to provide insights into Type 2 diabetes and other metabolic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day experimental work and research projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and report experimental results.
  • Analyze and interpret collected data.
  • Contribute to publications and project management.
  • Assist in laboratory organization and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in organoid culture, confocal microscopy, or single-cell sequencing library preparation preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
