Position Overview:

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking a Scientist I to join the Biotech team in Columbia, Missouri. This intermediate-level position involves conducting research and development projects in a laboratory setting under GMP and GLP guidelines. Responsibilities of a Scientist at Eurofins would include analytical work using HPLC, GC, electrophoretic and chromatographic techniques, monitoring studies, and ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications for the Scientist Job at Eurofins:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant laboratory experience or equivalent competency.
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, wet chemistry, electrophoresis, and compendial testing.
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP guidelines and LIMS systems is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, communication, and team collaboration.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As an Analyst, you have to perform analytical testing and complex lab work under established protocols.
  • Assist in conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies to ensure quality data.
  • At Eurofins, you will work with increasing independence on projects and assignments.
  • Utilize laboratory instruments and techniques for research and development.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
  • Candidates within commutable distance to Columbia, MO preferred.
