Scientist Jobs- Role
As a Cell Culture and Purification Scientist at Eurofins, you will play a key role in supporting bioprocess development and analytical research activities within the DMPK and biopharmaceutical teams. Your responsibilities will include executing cell culture experiments, performing protein purification and viral inactivation processes, and ensuring high-quality data generation in compliance with GxP standards. This position is ideal for candidates eager to expand their technical expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the advancement of innovative biotherapeutic solutions.
Life Science Graduates- Key Responsibilities
- Perform affinity chromatography and viral inactivation for lab-scale cell culture studies.
- Conduct cell culture work (shake flasks through bioreactors) for cell bank and bioprocess characterization.
- Prepare buffers and reagents, submit samples, and calibrate lab instruments.
- Lead purification projects and manage project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams to align lab activities.
- Analyze data statistically, prepare technical reports, and present results in team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with GxP standards, GHS policies, and laboratory protocols.
- Independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced research setting.
Scientist Jobs- Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry (required).
- Hands-on experience with cell culture and/or protein purification techniques.
- Strong data analysis, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Rensselaer, NY.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
