We are currently seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist I – Biotech to join our team in the Technical Support department. About the Role
As a Technical Product Support Specialist, youโll serve as the primary technical contact for Novaโs end users and field teams. Youโll troubleshoot, guide, and resolve issues related to Nova analyzers, ensuring smooth operations across healthcare and biotechnology environments.
This role is an excellent opportunity to begin a life science technical career and gain hands-on exposure to the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with end users, Field Service, and Field Sales representatives to resolve technical issues and answer product-related questions.
- Document support calls and resolution steps in the company database.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours support schedule to provide 24/7 customer assistance.
- Assist in training new Technical Product Specialists and Field Service staff.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Control, and R&D.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites and contribute to special projects.
Qualifications Required for Product Support Specialist Job
- Education: Bachelorโs degree (B.S.) in Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or Electronics.
- Experience: Entry-level; prior experience in clinical, biotechnology, or bioengineering labs is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cell culture, fermentation, and biologics manufacturing is preferred.
