BS & MS Jobsย at Eurofins- Role:
The Biophysical Analytical Scientist will apply expertise in biophysical methods to characterize biotherapeutic drug products, focusing on product robustness and stability. Working in a collaborative team environment, the scientist will support both early- and late-stage formulation development, contributing to the optimization and validation of drug products.
BS & MS Jobs at Eurofins- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assays such as MFI, SEC-MALS, Intrinsic Fluorescence, Infrared Spectroscopy, UV Circular Dichroism, DLS, and DSC for particle characterization and stability analysis.
- Document all experiments in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Conduct safety standard testing of laboratory instruments and troubleshoot instrument errors.
- Collaborate with team members to support formulation development and biotherapeutic product characterization.
Scientist Job- Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- 1โ2 years of hands-on experience operating biophysical instruments, including HIAC, SEC-MALS, MFI, FTIR.
- Solid understanding of protein science, protein/peptide stability, and protein-protein interactions.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
Work Environment and Compensation:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. โ 5:00 p.m., Rahway, NJ.
- Compensation: $24 โ $25.50/hr, depending on experience.
