Internship Opportunity at Labcorp- Role:

As an Oncology Research & Development Intern, you will contribute to developing and optimizing oncology-focused assays and testing capabilities within Labcorpโ€™s R&D department. Working onsite in Durham, North Carolina, youโ€™ll collaborate with scientists to support Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and clinical testing innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in oncology assay development and optimization.
  • Learn advanced techniques such as NGS and molecular data analysis.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments, maintain accurate notes, and present findings.
  • Support assay validation and improvement projects.
  • Apply critical thinking to analyze experimental outcomes.

Internship Opportunity at Labcorp- Qualifications:

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s in Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, or related field.
  • Hands-on lab experience in molecular or cell biology preferred.
  • Familiarity with NGS technologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with curiosity to learn.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
