Scientist Job at Takeda- Role:
The Senior Scientist, Biologics Generation & Analytics leads research to design, develop, and test biologic molecules across therapeutic modalities. You’ll work on DNA construct design, protein expression, and molecular engineering to support drug discovery and development. This position combines deep scientific expertise with leadership in project strategy, data analysis, and team mentoring.
Scientist Job at Takeda- Key Responsibilities:
- Design DNA constructs for therapeutic modalities including TCEs, mAbs, ADCs, and bispecifics.
- Apply expertise in molecular biology, protein expression, and plasmid design.
- Drive research strategies and oversee cross-functional biologics programs.
- Serve as a senior consultant across multiple projects and teams.
- Collaborate globally within Takeda’s Biologics Generation and Analytics (BGA) group.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to skill development across teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of biologics and antibody engineering.
- Hands-on experience with cloning techniques: Seamless, Gibson, or Golden Gate.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics, DNA assembly, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with tools like Geneious Prime, SnapGene, and Genedata Biologics.
- Strong problem-solving, innovation, and data presentation skills.
- Experience with CRISPR and stable cell line generation (a plus).
