Life Science Jobs in MD- Role:

The Cell Manufacturing Associate plays a key role in establishing and running end-to-end cell manufacturing processes in a regulated environment. You will support startup activities, including drafting standard operating procedures, scaling production, performing experiments, and ensuring cGMP compliance.

Life Science Jobs in MD- Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain cell manufacturing equipment such as biosafety cabinets, incubators, bioreactors, centrifuges, and pipettes.
  • Perform cell culture, expansion, and other cell manufacturing processes following established procedures.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and work within a controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Prepare raw materials, solutions, tools, and samples.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of cleanroom equipment and environment.
  • Conduct analytical tests or in-process checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document batch records and maintain proper Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Support troubleshooting, process improvement, and technology transfer activities.
  • Maintain personal cGMP training and assist with startup activities.

Biomedical Science Jobs- Minimum Requirements

Cell Manufacturing Associate I:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, cell and molecular biology, biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, biomanufacturing, or related fields.
  • 0+ years of relevant experience.

Cell Manufacturing Associate II:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience and 1+ year of aseptic technique and cell culture.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and GDP.
  • Experience operating cell manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work in a regulated cleanroom and document work accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with aseptic technique and cleanroom practices.
  • Understanding of quality control and in-process checks (viability, sterility, bioburden, endotoxin).
  • Knowledge of cell therapy techniques, including isolation, transduction, and expansion.

Salary & Benefits

  • Cell Manufacturing Associate I: $30.05 – $30.77 per hour
  • Cell Manufacturing Associate II: $31.25 – $35.58 per hour
