Scientist Jobs Thermo Fisher- Role:

The Scientist II, Molecular Biology role focuses on advancing laboratory services and supporting life sciences research with high-quality results. You will work in a fully onsite environment, applying your molecular biology expertise to support a wide array of scientific and analytical projects.

Scientist Jobs Thermo Fisher– Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform molecular biology experiments and support laboratory testing initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality results through accuracy, precision, and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Document laboratory work following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting, process improvements, and method development.
  • Support scientific reporting and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Experience in molecular biology laboratory techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory setting with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in molecular biology, genetics, and laboratory instrumentation.
  • Experience with high-throughput molecular assays, sample preparation, and analytical methods.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data documentation best practices.
